We are delighted to be able to provide an opportunity for the Sixth Form to gather for the Spring Charity Ball on Saturday 18th March 2023. This year, the event will be raising money for the ‘JackTheLad’ Foundation in memory of Jack Fenton (2018 C) and Jack Howe (2016 F)

Happy New Year to you all. This term has certainly begun at a pace and Christmas seems a long time ago! Walking around the site and corridors so far this week, I have seen a good sense of purpose around the place and the atmosphere has been impressive. Some of our students have been taking examinations this week – Maths IGCSE for the Fifth Form and some ICT/English Language for a few Sixth Formers.

Over the Christmas break, Evie S (Fourth Form) combined an England Hockey U16 training camp with multiple indoor Hockey tournaments, for her club, Knole Park. One of those tournaments being the England Hockey Division One League (one below the Premier League).

On Monday 9th January, the U13A Hockey team travelled to Kent College, Canterbury to play in the Tier 1 County Hockey Tournament. Incredibly, the team won the Tier 1 county tournament for the second year in a row, an outstanding feat for the side. Read more about their achievement below.

Over the Christmas Holidays, our Equestrian team went back out to rival other schools at a local Show Jumping competition in Staplehurst. Mr Sansom is spending the last few days of term visiting The Mathieson Mission School (MMS) in Kolkata, with whom the School has built a relationship over recent years to help support their aim of providing sponsored education to under-privileged children in Kolkata, who might not otherwise have access to any education.
