This week saw a break-out session on various terms related to sexuality as well as one on understanding mental health. A Wellbeing Parent session took place on Saturday and a yoga session taught students about the significance of flexibility.

We have not let the freezing temperatures get us down and I am glad to report another very good week here overlooking the chilly Weald. This afternoon I spent time in the Lambe's rooms, the Art and Design Technology departments and also in the Shooting Range seeing once more the great range of experiences that students get to have at School, seeing them work both individually and together in sensitive and thoughtful ways.

Last weekend, the SVS Equestrian team travelled to Coombelands to take part in some Arena Eventing. Arena Eventing is a mixture of Show Jumping and Cross Country. It is normally a course made up of 12 to 16 jumps and includes a vast network of left and right turns, which need to be firstly remembered and then secondly navigated with your pony.

It was delightful to see the Design Technology workshop yesterday busy with students from a number of year groups applying their manufacturing skills. First Form Design Technology Club students have been enjoying manufacturing their insect houses, confidently using a range of hand processes alongside the pillar drill and belt sander.
