Cooking For Yourself
An Upper Sixth forum carousel runs every Wednesday afternoon for five weeks to help prepare leavers for university life. Subjects include finance, first aid and cookery. Louisa Y (Upper Sixth) reports on this week’s cookery demonstration by John Devine, Catering Manager, below.

Last week, our Senior Equestrian Team competed in Show Jumping at Duckhurst Equestrian Centre in Staplehurst. Congratulations to Harriet P (Second Form), who came third in the 70-centimetre and fourth in 80-centimetre and to George S (Third Form), who came first individually in the 80-centimetre.

In our Staff Wellbeing Ambassador meeting, we talked about the benefits of having a wellbeing survey for our students and Mr Ellmers, Head of Sixth Form, has put in place excellent provisions for our Upper Sixth students to help them prepare for life beyond SVS.
