SVPS Design Challenge
Maidstone Museum launched a design challenge for schools across Kent. Designers had to use inspiration from an artefact, gallery or special exhibition at the Museum to produce a prototype product that could be sold in the Museum Shop.

Our Year 5 pupils have been researching endangered animals as inspiration for extending their drawing skills. Using pencils and applying their tonal variation and textural techniques, they drew their chosen animal in detail.

Two of our youngest members of the SVS Equestrian team, Isla D (Year 5) and Amelia P (Year 4) competed locally in Staplehurst over the Easter holidays in a Showjumping competition against other local schools and they both came away with fantastic results.
