The Chop!
Since last year, Elsa B (Year 4) had been growing her hair in the hope for it to be long enough to donate her locks to the Little Princess Trust. After 12 months of growing, at the end of the summer holidays, Elsa bravely had ‘the chop’ and donated 11 inches of hair, along with raising over £1,000 for the charity.

This week saw the return of the Prep School STEM experience at the Senior School. Our SVPS Year 5 pupils spent the day in the Physics department, led by a group of skilled and enthusiastic Lower Sixth students. The pupils undertook a practical action challenge to design and build a model wind turbine that would lift a cup of plastic cubes from the floor.
