Children in Reception had great fun during pumpkin week! They practised their sight words by using a spinner to read and write the words on an enormous pumpkin! Some pumpkins had numbers written on them and they tried ordering them.

Our Year 3 children have been boosting their confidence in P4L. They have been nurturing their self-esteem by identifying what makes them unique and special. The children described confidence as a feeling, using words such as: doing things for yourself, being brave, not being nervous, kind and helpful.

Whilst our Nursery remains open over the next two weeks, the Half Term draws to a close for the rest of the School. As such, I would like to begin today’s newsletter with some hearty congratulations to many of our pupils in Year 6 who, this week, found out whether they had been successful in achieving an award to the Senior School as well as discovering how they had performed in the 11+ Kent Test.
