We had our first Star Assembly on Tuesday where 2G won the Courtesy Cup for their fantastic efforts to be excellent role models and to demonstrate to the rest of the School their wonderful manners, kindness and trying their best in all lessons.

Children in Year 1 had an exciting afternoon on Thursday, when Mrs Fairest, Biology teacher from SVS, came to teach them all about animals; something they have been learning about this term. The children were inspired by the magic of Science, gripping onto Mrs Fairest’s every word.

This week, the children in Year 2 have been busy using the iPads to research aspects of our topic, Space. They worked in pairs, looking on the NASA Kids website. They have been finding out how to use technology to help us answer questions.

Many of you will have heard, and hopefully some of you may have seen, that our Chamber Choir featured on BBC Breakfast and various other BBC channels this week having taken part in the performance of ‘The Carol of the Bells’ in conjunction with a few other schools at Benenden. Raising money to support those impacted by the conflict in Ukraine, here is hoping for a Christmas Number One!
