After weeks of lockdown and a dearth of entertainment opportunities, what a joy last Friday was! Several Year 6 pupils took to the virtual stage for an informal concert and made very clear that even a pandemic could not stand in the way of their musical progress.
They also had the pleasure of being joined in the audience by the newest and youngest addition to the SVPS community, Ottilie Davey. Much to everyone’s relief, proud father Mr Davey discovered a new and previously unexplored use for the Zoom mute button!
With a varied programme of music ranging from medieval masterpieces to 21st Century rock, the children royally entertained their audience of family and friends from near and far. It was lovely to celebrate the children’s achievements in their remote music lessons ahead of this week’s long-anticipated return to face to face lessons. Congratulations one and all!
