Year 6 enjoyed their first residential trip abroad since 2019 this week. Four days based in Le Touquet saw the children visit a bee farm, a chocolaterie, a snail farm and – the children’s favourite – Vimy Ridge war memorial. On top of this, they took a trip to the beach, where the ‘Boules or Nothing’ tournament created great tension and uproarious excitement. All of the children had a brilliant time. There will be some reports from two of our prefects in next week’s newsletter with an insider view, but the children had many of their Learning Powers on display throughout and were a real credit to themselves and SVPS as a whole!
