This week has seen the inaugural Year 2 Charity event, raising funds for The Big Cat Sanctuary and The Hospice in the Weald.  Throughout the week, the children have pushed themselves to swim more widths and run further than ever before.  The week culminated in a tricycle obstacle challenge.  The children oozed excitement and anticipation to see the daily totals of the amounts raised by each of the classes.  The grand total was revealed in a special Presentation Assembly, with the children’s proud parents looking on.  At the time of writing, the total stands at just over £700!  All participants received a medal and a certificate to recognise their sustained efforts.  Congratulations Year 2, on a fantastic fund raising week!
