An annual end of term tradition, this year’s whole School Baton Race was won by Holdgate for Seniors, Founder’s for Inters and Lambe’s for the Juniors. It was wonderful to be able to hold World Book Day in School again, following a lockdown version last year. It is a day to celebrate beloved books, old and new, and to discover many unknown books when talking to our friends about their characters; dressing up always adds extra excitement, too.
How fantastic to see the whole school from Nursery to Year 6 come together once more to share our World Book Day assembly.
Remember to use your £1 book voucher in any major supermarket or large chain bookstore; you can never have too many books!
