Celebrating World Book Day, young readers delved into their favourite stories with a day of fictional fun! Dressed as their favourite bookish characters, the whole school showcased their costume efforts in a year by year parade, before heading to the Headmaster’s lawn to join together in a full school photo!

Each class then had the chance to watch a special production of Alice in Wonderland by visiting production company The Umbrella Theatre, complete with bubble machine, giant cheshire cat and audience participation. Even the teachers went down the rabbit hole by coming to work as book heroes and villains – this chapter of World Book Day might have ended, but don’t forget to turn the page on a new reading adventure at home!
