During Leadership in Lockdown English, Year 5 have been applying the wisdom of Super Hoot and reflecting on their learning powers.
Constructing egg-box owls with independence and originality, as well as flexibility and tenacity, ensured that Year 5 had a feathery friend to hang on to their wise reflections. They looked back with empathy and reflection at their remote-learning journey which gave them: both wings to fly higher, along with some clipped wings too.
However, both the positives and negatives of lockdown learning has nurtured collaboration, bravery and initiative and Year 5 are going to fluff up their feathers and swoop into Year 6 with curiosity, a continued love of learning and wisdom!
