An annual end of term tradition, this year’s whole School Baton Race was won by Holdgate for Seniors, Founder’s for Inters and Lambe’s for the Juniors. “Flt Lt Kitchen joined the CCF in 2010. She is a trained Signaller, Range Conducting Officer and Lowland Expedition specialist, as well as holding qualifications in first aid and food hygiene. She always volunteers to do courses and attends events to assist with the Cadets, enhancing their experiences and skills. During her time in the CCF, she has been in charge of the RAF section and has received the Lord Lieutenant’s Award for Meritorious Service. We are very pleased to present her with her Cadet Forces Medal for twelve years of service to the Cadets here at Sutton Valence School.” – Lt Col Millbery
