In true British fashion, our First and Second Form Mathematicians used tea to solve some of their problems! Their mission: to create a biscuit that can endure the tea-dunking test.
With ratio, proportion, surface area and costings being explored, there were plenty of practical Mathematical techniques in action and, of course, some biscuit sampling was to be had.
The week ended with a final dunk-off where only the strongest of biscuits had survived. Congratulations to all teams but the winners in the First Form were Jack Dyas, Monty Tunnicliffe and Albert Watts, and the Second Form winners were William Chadwick, Otis Meneses-Bautista and Ben Wilding.
