Last week our Swimming team attended a Girls’ Swimming gala against pupils from Cobham Hall School, who have always proved to be tough competition in the past. It became apparent early on that the overall result would be very close as we finished the individual races with equal scores.

This meant that it was all down to the relay races. Unfortunately, our junior girls lost their first front crawl relay, however, the inter girls won theirs. With only the medley relay remaining, both the juniors and intermediates needed to come first.

All of the girls gave their very best and managed to secure first place in both races leading us to win the gala.

This is an amazing achievement and, as it stands, the Swimming team are still undefeated this season!
