Lest we forget. As the School joined to remember those who lost their lives, we welcomed Harry H (First Form) back to SVPS this morning to perform the Last Post at our yearly Act of Remembrance on the Head’s Lawn.

Harry’s impeccable playing really set the tone of the event, heralding the two minutes silence during which all of the Years 3 to 6 children and staff gathered on the Head’s Lawn to remember and honour those who have given their lives or otherwise been involved in war and conflict. Harry followed this up with an equally impeccable rendition of the Reveille, after which our Head Girl, Esmée B, and Head Boy, Zach S-G, rounded off the very moving event with prayers and readings.
