An annual end of term tradition, this year’s whole School Baton Race was won by Holdgate for Seniors, Founder’s for Inters and Lambe’s for the Juniors. Year 4 have stepped into the world of artist LS Lowry. A world filled with factories, street scenes, grey skies and matchstick figures with large feet.
Their fact-finding adventure introduced them to the well known English artist, whose inspiration was his love of industrial cities and people watching. Using a muted Lowry palette of only five colours, Year 4 presented their information, along with Lowry style drawings, as a little stage.
