Amanda Riley, a fashion designer, environmentalist and founder of Fashion Rebellion led a hand printing workshop for Year 6. Children had a fantastic time updating and customising some of their clothing using a wonderful array of wooden stamps and colourful fabric inks. The focus was on upcycling a garment to encourage sustainable designing and reducing their fashion footprint on the planet. Year 6 made the most of the exciting mark making opportunity to stamp their own creativity and uniqueness onto their clothing, thereby transforming the Art Room into a fashion house filled with gorgeous garments ready for the Year 6 Leavers’ Exhibition catwalk.
