Year 6 have stepped into the world of Shakespeare. They explored the Shakespeare’s Globe website fact pages to discover the world that Shakespeare lived in. With the quote, “a mind that is stretched by new experiences can never go back to its old dimensions”, they read to retrieve facts that interested them and to stretch their minds to learn more about the famous playwright and life in Elizabethan London. They made notes about London, theatres, William Shakespeare and his plays in preparation for their final act – a mood board. A mood board filled with interesting information and images that captured and reflected the drama and excitement of Shakespeare’s World both creatively and constructively.
