Next week, children in Reception are going to be working on the sounds ‘ir, ou’ and ‘oy’ as well as continuing with sentence writing. During mathematics, the children are going to be revisiting o’clock times, and continuing with one more and less as mental mathematics and recording sums. They will still be working with subtraction and using number lines to solve problems.
The children in RM have studied Africa this week and tried out some African dancing. They had a marvellous time learning the Fante tribe of Ghana’s Apatampa Dance. Thank you so much Tina and Nyah for your excellent teaching and sense of fun! The RE children found out all about Peru and weaved saddles for their llamas. Next week they will be flying off on their magic carpets again, RE are heading to Australia and RM are flying off to France!
