A book is an adventure waiting to happen…

Adventure is just a page away for all of our SVPS Awesome Adventurers. Year 3 to Year 6 are encouraged to embark on some reading adventures over the Easter holidays.

Reading expands horizons – what new places will you travel to from the comfort of your home? 
Reading nurtures imagination and creativity – what new words and authorial techniques will you encounter? 
Reading improves knowledge – what fantastic facts will you learn? 
Reading develops empathy – what cool characters will you meet? 
Reading will positively impact your learning – what a great way to stretch your elastic brain! 

All you need to do to have some amazing adventures is to be an intrepid reader. Read a variety of books, both fiction and non-fiction, and fill in some of the exciting activities in the Awesome Adventurers Reading Booklet. 

Adventures can be dramatic and creative so venture forth and think ahead, make headlines, capture quotes, find facts, give your opinion, bravely film and retell your experiences and see your adventures through to the end!
