In honour of VE Day, Mrs Harrison’s Year 5 Mathematics class were given the challenge to ‘waste not, want not’ in true WWII style and make bread pudding using leftover stale bread.
The task was designed to stretch and challenge the young bakers mathematically too. The ingredient quantities were all mixed up and needed converting from one unit of Imperial or Metric measurement to another before the weighing out could begin.
Well done, to James, Dominic and Seb who all produced delicious looking bread puddings!
