Matilda M (Year 6) talks in her prefect piece below about her experience on her first ever residential trip to Marchant’s Hill.
“Last week, we went on our first ever residential trip! We were all incredibly excited as we had never been on a residential trip before (we missed the Year 4 trip thanks to Covid!) and last year our plans were slightly delayed. It all worked out well in the end as Marchant’s Hill was everything our teachers had promised.
We all looked ready for a holiday with our super full suitcases and lots of energy… we did not come back that way! Marchant’s Hill was a super fun adventure! As soon as we got there we were set the first task of building a buggy. The next day we built a raft, some of us managed to stay dry whilst others got really wet. We climbed and tried lots of different activities, my favourite was the 20-foot swing and the disco! It was fun sleeping in a room with all my friends and trying so many different challenges. I cannot wait for our next school trip.”
