On Saturday 10th September, two Senior School pupils and three Prep School pupils travelled to Felbridge in West Sussex to compete in an NSEA Schools Equestrian Competition.
Charlotte L (Year 6) attended her first School competition and though she, unfortunately, did not place in the 60cm Show Jumping, she had a great round, riding most of it with just one stirrup.
In the 70-75cm Jumping with style, as an individual, Amelia P (Year 5) came sixth out of 23 and as a team, Amelia, Isla D (Year 6) and Harriet Plummer (Second Form) placed at an amazing fourth!
In the 70-75cm Show Jumping, Amelia also came eighth out of 61 with only a 1.5 seconds difference between Amelia and third place!
Both classes were qualifiers for National Championships at Keysoe in October. This will be the first time that SVPS pupils of the team have qualified for the Championships! A great achievement for Isla, Amelia and Harriet.
Well done also to Imogen Trott (Fifth Form) who competed in Show Jumping and Dressage for coming 13th out of 25 in the Dressage.
