An annual end of term tradition, this year’s whole School Baton Race was won by Holdgate for Seniors, Founder’s for Inters and Lambe’s for the Juniors. This week saw the launch of the SVS Chess club. Lower School pupils came along to the Mathematics block to pit their skills against one another, in this wonderful game of strategy and concentration. Run by Mr Wellings and the Sixth formers, Sebastiaan Lijesen and Ellie Fraser, there were some inspirational games, proving what a talented bunch of pupils we have.
If your child is looking to learn something new, encourage them to join in during Monday lunchbreak. All abilities are catered for and all are welcome, staff and students alike!
