An annual end of term tradition, this year’s whole School Baton Race was won by Holdgate for Seniors, Founder’s for Inters and Lambe’s for the Juniors. Amy J (Year 2) joined Brownies last week, she informed her peers in the class on Friday and spent her day in full uniform. For her to join the Brownies, she had to read out the Brownie Promise:
‘I’m a BROWNIE now I have a lot of badges to get. I got enrolled yesterday evening at a Zoom meeting. I had to say my Brownie Promise which is:
I promise that I will do my best,
To be true to myself and develop my beliefs,
To serve the Queen and my community,
To help other people and to keep the Brownie Guide law.’
Amy is looking forward to camp stage 2, explore stage 3 and ‘have adventures’ theme award, plus she is working towards getting her Brownie Gold Award.
