Sienna C, (Third Form), has been passionately participating in motorsport during her free time and her dedication is clearly paying off. She recently excelled in the Buckmore Championship, sharing her excitement:
“I had a great result in my Buckmore Championship race the other week, achieving first place on the points leaderboard. I finished 15 points ahead of the boy who came second overall. I also secured a first-place podium finish in my championship race on Saturday at Bayford Meadows, which was an amazing feeling, especially considering there were 18 competitors.”
Sienna’s achievements are a testament to her hard work and determination, particularly given the challenges she faces:
“Winning isn’t easy as there are a lot of other kids (mostly boys) who are as committed as I am! I have to practise in all weathers, all year round and since it’s not a team sport, I can only rely on myself to do well. I love the championship race days the most—the feeling, the speed and the competitiveness. I hope to achieve my dream one day but in the meantime, I will keep practising, learning and doing my best to win.”
We are incredibly proud of Sienna’s accomplishments and the dedication she shows to motorsport. We wish her the best of luck in all her future races and will continue to support her in every way we can as she strives to achieve her dream.
