After Half Term, Years 3 to 6 will be having a MEGA Manners Week.

It will be an opportunity to raise, remind and reinforce the SVPS values and Super Hoot Learning Powers by encouraging children to embrace expectations and celebrate returning to the learning zone of School.

MEGA Manners Week aims to:

• Raise awareness of expectations with regards to work ethic and behaviour
• Remind children of the SVPS way of ‘Ready, Respectful, Safe’ and our Super Hoot Learning Powers
• Reinforce taking ownership of their manners and actions and making the most of their learning opportunities.

The children will each receive a MEGA Manners card to reward their learning zone efforts and achievements in lessons throughout the week. In addition, their marvellous MEGA Manners will earn them stickers to exchange for house points.

MEGA Manners Week will also include the extra bonus of Mindful Golden Time on Friday afternoon. Children will be able to put all their MEGA Manners, especially the focus learning powers of flexibility and collaboration, into practice to participate in a chosen activity that they enjoy. They may also bring a tasty treat to eat during their Golden Time.
