This year, we hosted a scaled-down Maths Week, England. Every day, the pupils had a range of maths puzzles to complete. The puzzles were posted and we were very pleased to see lots of House points were awarded throughout the week. Well done to everyone who completed these, Mrs Skelly’s post box was crammed full!
In Year 3, the children made posters illustrating all the maths skills they have learnt this term. Year 4 completed a 14 by 5 digit Napier’s Bones and they also shared their multiplication skills. In Year 5, the children completed a massive 26 by 15 digit Napier’s Bones. What an amazing achievement; it was so lovely to see everyone enjoying multiplying and sharing their mathematical skills.
One of the most exciting aspects of the week was the TTRockstar challenge. The pupils were only allowed to play TTRocks from 7.30am till 7.30pm each day.
