Mrs Colwell has loved looking at all the marvellous maps from Prep’s Outdoor Learning lessons this week. She could not help but notice how brilliantly the children have demonstrated this term’s Learning Powers of ‘Curiosity and Originality’. Every map has been created with careful observation, like Super Hoot with his 360° owl vision! No two maps, even those of the School site made by the keyworker children, were the same.
Learning how to read maps and use a compass are great life skills to have, especially as nowadays we rely so heavily on our Satnavs. Now we have been asked to stay home and take our exercise in the form of local walks, perhaps you can test your newly acquired skills on your next walk.
