During lockdown, there are lots of opportunities for the children to spend some time curled up with a good book. However, for parents, identifying said books can be a little tricky.

Fortunately, there are lots of resources available to help. Below are two, which we find particularly useful:

AR Bookfinder (www.arbookfind.co.uk) is linked to the Accelerated Reader scheme and offers the option to search using a given ZPD range, as well as filtering for genre and text type.

The second resource is the excellent www.thereaderteacher.com, which offers hundreds of book reviews and, in particular, the #BookMatch tool, which suggests books you may enjoy based on previous reading.
