On 1st of December, members of Sutton House travelled by bus to Canterbury to start our skating adventures.  Once we got to the rink, we found that we had time to look around the city, as we had 30 minutes before we could get our skates on.  As soon as we arrived at our meeting spot, everyone rushed to get into Costa for hot refreshments.  After we had warmed up, we headed onto the ice.  Some people glided gracefully across the rink, while others took some falls and bruises.  Overall it was a great experience for all, whether it was our first skating experience or not.  After ice skating, we had more than an hour to explore the shops of Canterbury.  Everyone was exhausted by the end but it was a fun day out for all the girls (and some of the boys).
