Finally, the end of the year has arrived – what a year it has been for all of the SVS community. We all have a great deal to reflect on in so many ways and I trust we can all feel proud to have excelled in so many spheres despite the many challenges we all faced.
The events of the last week have been a super end to the term and shortly I will be heading into the final assembly for Senior School students with an abundance of awards to give out and messages of thanks to pass on to all the community. Tomorrow I look forward to attending the final two formal events in my diary for this year – the Prep School Speech Day and the SVPSPA Ball. The forecast looks rather warm.
I am hugely proud of all the students for their application throughout the year, to colleagues for their relentless commitment and care, and to all of the parents for entrusting their children to us. Likewise, rekindling our relationships with friends in the community as well as Old Suttonians has been a pleasure and we look forward to doing so even more next year.
With best wishes for the summer,
Mr James Thomas, Headmaster
