Advent is here! I trust you are all following our online advent calendar, which can be found on our TikTok here or on our Instagram and Facebook stories; I am most grateful to those who are involved with this project and we hope you enjoy the fun. We had a lovely Advent Service in Chapel on Monday (see a photo of our Advent wreath here) and the arrival of all the trees and decorations around the sites has brought a lovely feel.

Attendance was excellent at the Fifth Form parents’ evening on Wednesday, despite the clash with a certain fixture (I was still humming ‘Yma o Hyd’ proudly despite the result) and Groves Hall was pretty packed with friends and family for last night’s delightful Informal Concert. Plenty of you are all booked in to the production of The Winter’s Tale and the Carol Services – there are just a few places remaining so please do log on and confirm a place. It is great to have so much going on.

I look forward to popping in to the Junior Christmas Disco after School today and I am told an outfit is being prepared for the Prep School Christmas Fair Tomorrow… The diary is certainly full with Christmas cheer!
