We are delighted to announce that Summer Beames (Lower Sixth) and Josef Ibrahim (Fourth Form) have both been awarded a Headmaster’s Copy Prize, for outstanding academic work, during this week’s assembly.

Summer wrote an essay titled ‘China and the West’s relations: will we face another cold war?’, which was ranked as one of the top essays in the annual Foundation Essay competition by Dr Nicholas Perkins, Associate Professor and Tutor in English at St Hugh’s College, Oxford. 

Josef prepared and delivered an excellent presentation with his sister Angelina (Lower Sixth) on their home country, Syria, to the Juniors during one of their assemblies.
