This week, children in Years 3 to Year 6 celebrated both Artsmark Week and belonging to their castles, Bodiam, Hever, Leeds and Rochester, by creating castle community trees.
They discussed how the tree is a symbol of their castle community and how it is strengthened by everyone helping, supporting and being kind to each other. Each child designed a unique leaf, all wonderfully different, but beautiful together.
The castle community trees stand proudly on display in the Coles Building, symbols of growing stronger together and embracing a sense of belonging through their written words and individual decorative details. A forest of reminders reflecting the importance of community and celebrating our creative Artsmark journey.
