Congratulations to the Sutton Valence Golf team who came sixth in the 2020 ISGA National Matchplay Finals. This was a scratch handicap competition where SVS had to play other local schools in the regional matches to qualify for the National Final.

Our students were up against many of the best golfers in the country and did very well to come sixth. A special mention must go to Harvey Sladden (Upper Sixth) who was one shot over Rye Golf Club’s Standard Scratch Score scorecard.

We now have a very good chance of automatically qualifying for next year’s Nationals at Formby Park.
