Today at Sutton Valence School in Maidstone, Kent, there were some excellent GCSE grades awarded to students. Over 40 percent of the grades were at levels 9, 8 or 7 (A*/A equivalent) showing the high level of student attainment. That said, the ‘value added’ levels of grades were also laudable showing considerable improvement for individuals. Across a wide range of subjects, students secured very pleasing results and were rewarded for their hard work with great support from their teachers and families.
James Thomas, Headmaster, comments that: ‘We are so proud of this year group and their super results. We wish them all the very best as they embark on their Sixth Form studies and we have high hopes for their futures. Last week we celebrated excellent A Level results and it was lovely this morning to be in School with so many happy students, parents and colleagues once more applauding the results of Sutton Valence Students.’
