An annual end of term tradition, this year’s whole School Baton Race was won by Holdgate for Seniors, Founder’s for Inters and Lambe’s for the Juniors. During this week’s Forest School, Reception observed a fire being made. The Kelly Kettle was used to boil up water to make some delicious warm soup, which tied into the children’s recent learning about the body, as part of the ‘Funny Bones’ topic and healthy eating.
RE had already made healthy pizzas during the week and RG had made fruit smoothies, so it was a great way to complete the topic in the outdoor learning environment!
