Our Equestrian team has made a fantastic start to the new academic year.
On Sunday, the team competed at the Petley Wood show jumping competition. Toby De Lucy (Third Form) came sixth in the 90cm and Jessica De Lucy (Lower Sixth) had two great rounds in the 90cm and 1m classes, coming fifth overall in the 90cm class.

The team, comprising of Daisy Hills (Upper Sixth), Clayton Olson (Lower Sixth), Oliver Barr (Fourth Form) and Alfie Miles (Fourth Form) came first overall, qualifying for the championships which will take place in October.

Alfie also placed second individually and achieved first and second in the pony 110cm class, also qualifying for the championships. Oliver was also placed third in the 110cm.

Overall, an incredible weekend for the SVS riding team who are already looking forward to the championships later this term.
