Year 3 have been drawing dragons; combining different claws, wings and tails to create their own unique dragon. They used their dragon designs to inspire the construction of their paper chain dragons.
Drawing lines and folding paper supported the cutting of equal width strips, which they then glued together to create chain links. Cleverly, the last three links decreased in size, ready to become part of a twitching tail.
Year 3 use varied mark-making to create pattern, scales and texture to decorate their dragons and with the addition of a head, their paper chain dragons were set free to roar with character!
