Curiosity Day this term took the theme of World Inventors’ Day and Innovation. All children from Reception to Year 6 took part in a range of exciting and challenging activities throughout the day, enabling them to flex their creative muscles, work collaboratively and ‘think out of the box’. At SVPS we understand that the children in our care are the ‘movers and shakers’ of tomorrow, so giving them opportunities to stretch and challenge themselves is of paramount importance. Activities this term included Lego workshops, space capsule egg parachute challenge, space music creation, 3D space rocket or space station generation challenge and a Dragons’ Den challenge, to name but a few.
