This Wednesday, the Fourth Form CCF Army students completed their beginner’s course in Skiing at the Chatham Snowsports Centre. Three weeks ago, these students could not ski and had no previous experience of skiing and by Wednesday’s session, they were able to turn, snow plough and stop – impressive progress. As a result, they are now able to take part in ‘open practice’, meaning that they can ski without an instructor. The students have thoroughly enjoyed themselves, impressed their instructor and now have the opportunity to pursue this new skill, should they wish to continue, well done all!
