Year 5 have poured cupfuls of creativity into their Art. Inspired by the artist Romero Britto and his colourful, cheerful and heart-warming pictures, they embraced his style.
However, they mixed it with a dash of their own originality and uniqueness. Observing a cup and saucer or a mug, they focused their drawing skills on creating ovals and curved bases of cylindrical shapes to enhance 3D form. Placing their cup or mug in a composition of Britto shapes, pattern and images took careful consideration, as did the addition of colour!
No tea breaks for Year 5 as they persevered to create their fantastic cup of fantasy masterpieces!
