An annual end of term tradition, this year’s whole School Baton Race was won by Holdgate for Seniors, Founder’s for Inters and Lambe’s for the Juniors. On Thursday, the 1st XV Rugby team travelled to Dartford Grammar School to play in the Fifth Round of the Under 18 NatWest Vase. Despite being 12-10 down at half time, the boys produced an excellent second half display to win 44-12. The team are now through to the Quarter Finals. Along the way they have beaten Maidstone Grammar School, Skinners’ School and Chislehurst and Sidcup Grammar School in the Area Knockout rounds and the Duke of York’s Royal Military School in round four, where they won 44-3. The Quarter Final Draw, which took place on Thursday, saw SVS drawn against Eastbourne College. We wish them all good luck for the Quarter Final and congratulate them on their success so far!
