Ni Hao!

Year 6 has now undertaken their first in a series of live, online Chinese Mandarin lessons with the innovative and exciting DragonsConnect Company. Mme West and Mrs Harrison have been thrilled to see the pupils engage so enthusiastically with their Mandarin teachers, taking on board new vocabulary and phrases.

After their live, small-group online lesson, the pupils were then given the opportunity to consolidate, as well as stretch and challenge, their understanding, knowledge and skills further by undertaking fun games and tasks. These tasks included counting and writing numbers in Mandarin.

This challenging linguistic opportunity has been tackled with tenacity and dedicated focus by all, helping to build a valuable and transferrable skill set for the future.
