In Year 6, pupils have been solving measurement problems using up to three decimal places! They have used simple formulae to calculate area, perimeter and volume, and have converted between many different units.
The children have also been very busy measuring different parts of the school with a variety of equipment and comparing these to other schools’ facilities. They have estimated, weighed, and measured everyday objects, comparing and ordering them in size.
Finally, they put their skills into good use and took to the kitchen to prepare and bake delicious short bread.
