On Thursday, 20th March, the Boarding community gathered in the Sports Hall for a spirited Charity Netball Tournament. The evening brought together students from all Boarding Houses to support The Hygiene Bank, a charity dedicated to tackling hygiene poverty.
Five teams, made up of boarders from St Margaret’s House, Sutton House and Westminster House, took to the court in what proved to be a closely fought contest. It was fantastic to see everyone getting involved, learning, and playing some great netball – some for the very first time!
Students from all year groups participated and the atmosphere throughout the evening was vibrant and supportive. Spectators filled the sidelines to cheer on their housemates, creating an exciting and encouraging environment. After a series of thrilling matches, it was Westminster House who emerged victorious, narrowly defeating Sutton House to claim the win.
A special thank you to Amina in the Upper Sixth for capturing brilliant photos of the evening. Thanks also to Lucy R for organising the event, the Boarding staff for running it and everyone who donated and contributed to such a fantastic evening.
