An annual end of term tradition, this year’s whole School Baton Race was won by Holdgate for Seniors, Founder’s for Inters and Lambe’s for the Juniors. Upper Sixth NCOs prepared themselves for the arrival of Year 5 from Sutton Valence Prep School for a CCF Taster Day. Children battled through different activities, learning how to drill before putting bodies and minds to the test with an assault course, command tasks, flight simulator, archery, Laser Tag and air rifle shooting. This was a great chance for Year 5 to have a taster of the great leadership opportunities available to them in the near future at Sutton Valence School, and for our oldest pupils to pass on their years of CCF training.
