Having previously worked in education, before falling into severe gambling addiction and debt, author of Might Bite, Patrick Foster, now visits schools to inform pupils of the consequences of this debilitating habit. This week, older pupils had the chance to hear his inspiring story, and to reflect on the mental health implications of adversity, a particularly timely visit with it being the week of the Cheltenham Gold Cup, which features dramatically in Patrick’s story.
